We offer two types of dog fence material and dog fence kits. Our standard dog fence kits consist of 2" opening size 600+ lb breaking strength mesh with heavy duty black coated fence posts. Posts include matching caps and are inserted into ground sleeves for easy installation. Ground sleeves are driven into the ground with a driving anvil. Basic post/sleeve information: click here
Fence mesh is attached to each post with black UV resistant fence ties. The fence mesh is overlapped on the ground a minimum of 6" (bent to the inside) and staked to the ground. This prevents your dog from pushing up underneath the fence and deters them from digging. Standard dog fence kits are 3.5ft above grade when installed.
Our heavy duty dog fence kits include the same components as our standard dog fence kits with the exception of the fence mesh. We are offering 2" opening size 900+lb breaking strength mesh as a heavy duty option. This mesh is also a foot higher, leaving an installed dog fence system of 4.5ft above grade (with 6" of overlap bent and staked to the inside). This is the highest grade and strongest poly fence material available anywhere. Although the fence mesh is strong, it's still as invisible as the 600+lb mesh and just as flexible for easy installation. This would be a good option for those customers with larger dogs or for those customers simply would want the strongest dog fence system you can buy.
When choosing a dog fence kit, be sure to purchase a kit with enough ground stakes. Suggested spacing is one stake every 3 feet. Also, be sure to know what strength mesh you're getting with your fence kit.
In addition, a steel core base material can be added found here: fence base This material is used for deer fence systems where smaller animals like rabbits work to chew through the base of the fence. This might be an option for you if you have an aggressive dog that continually bites at the fence. The base material can be added after the initial fence is installed if you notice it's a problem; most customers find they don't need it.
