Fence Ties, Tools and Related Hardware

The below hardware and tools are used to attach fencing to posts. An alternate way would be to use tension cable, connectors and tools.

• Fence Ties: Self locking plastic or steel strips that wrap around fence posts and fencing to secure the fencing to posts. They can also be used to attach fencing to fencing. Our 8" plastic fence ties are the most common tie used and fit around our 1 5/8 round fence posts without much waste.
• Fence Cutter/Puller Tools: Tools that can both tighten fence ties but cut off excess - a good tool if you have a large project. Available for plastic and stainless steel ties
• Brace Bands: Brace bands can be used in place of ties altogether. The bands wrap around the post and tighten with an included black carriage bolt.
• Post Cable Collars: Post cable collars are used mainly for running tension cable on posts. They can also be used as a loop or eye to put a tie through on a post, as opposed to wrapping the tie around the post and fencing.
• Black hole cap with screw: Can be used on the top of 1 5/8 posts to accept a fence tie. Useful in areas with heavy snow load if ties are sliding down posts.
