8ga black monofilament 1200lb breaking strength tension cable (suggested for customers installing a fence on both posts and trees) to tension 100 linear feet
- 500 feet of cable, enough for two positions, top and one more - typically 30" or where the top poly fencing meets the bottom rodent barrier fencing (if applicable)

What's not included:

Loop method installation detail:
To install tension cable in the standard way, you would have collars positioned at the top of every post and another collar at 30" (the deer impact zone) or at the height of your rodent barrier fencing (if applicable - for example if you have a 2ft rodent barrier, this cable would be at 18" high leaving you 6" of overlap on the ground).
A loop is created using cable every three posts with a gripple tensioning connector joining the cable together at the bottom middle post collar.
For example, to run the cable, start at the middle bottom collar and run the cable through to the right bottom collar, up to the right top collar, over to the middle top collar continuing over to the left top collar, down to the bottom left collar and meeting back in the middle bottom to join with the other end of the cable and gripple tensioning connector.
This will give you separate, independent panels to tension. Run all your tension cable first loosely and tighten in sequence. You can then go back with a level on each post and pull posts in and out of plumb to adjust. Feel free to call with questions.
