Hands Free Delivery $200
Large orders via freight carrier can be upgraded to hands free delivery for an additional charge of $200.
This means your order will be delivered and unloaded by the delivery company using a flatbed truck with a forklift or upgraded to a delivery service that unloads the packages from their vehicles and places them on the ground for you.
This is a good option for a customer with a large order but not having the time or resources to unload them - no labor in the unloading process is required
Details and notes:
- In most circumstances these orders are delivered on a flatbed delivery vehicle with a forklift mounted on the back. The driver will place your pallets as directed within a reasonable distance from the truck (25-50ft from their truck).
- In some instances, at our own discretion, we are able to upgrade delivery via Fedex or UPS ground. The $200 add on fee is used to pay these carriers their additional shipping costs (in addition to the free standard shipping we already provide and pay for) to deliver in this hands free way. Fedex and UPS ground both unload packages and place them at the delivery address without the need for the recipient to assist.
- In some circumstances both the forklift delivery option and the Fedex/UPS upgrade option won't work. The only option will be then to receive the order by large truck and to unload these packages one by one from the pallet. We stack every order by hand on pallets and they are designed to be unloaded by hand piece by piece - no forklift is needed. We would then refund the $200 hands free delivery add on option purchased.
