Poly Fence Rolls

Every Critterfence© plastic roll of fencing is constructed from 100% virgin polypropylene with no recycled materials. Recycled poly can degrade mesh over time, and this type of fencing — used outdoors in many climates and environments — needs to be the highest quality to last as long as possible. With virgin material throughout, you can rest assured your fencing is strong and consistent from top to bottom.

Be aware that no poly fencing is 100% chew-proof. If you need completely chew-proof fencing, we recommend using metal wire fences. Some rolls include our patent pending Bitterfence© anti-chew additive, which is a chew deterrent engineered to prevent the article itself (the fencing) from being chewed. Even Bitterfence© poly is not chew proof.

All of our rolled plastic fencing is made with built-in UV inhibitors. This allows our fencing to maintain functionality and appearance for 15, 20, or even 25 years. You’ll get decades of reliable performance without the corrosion, rust, and degradation you get with lower-quality fencing options from elsewhere.

A Critterfence© plastic fencing roll uses an extruded semi-round or round strand design paired with a patented graduated reinforced bottom. This delivers a higher breaking strength per strand and per square foot than comparable types. Poly fence mesh strength is measured in breaking strength per square foot, and our design consistently outperforms flat-strand competitors. It’s also less visible against your landscaping, giving you the protection you desire without taking away from your home’s exterior.

Our polypropylene fence rolls come in variable breaking strengths of 650 lbs to over 1,400 lbs per square foot, determined by the type you choose. Any less, and you can break poly fencing by hand, so it won’t contain your pets or prevent animals from entering your property uninvited. Critterfence© mesh is engineered with structure and installs more easily than floppy poly (nylon mesh for example) that collapses during installation. Use with posts like other fencing with less stretching. Our fencing holds its shape both during and after installation for a cleaner result and easier installation process.

Our plastic fencing roll also features one finished edge and one cut edge. Cut edges are often sharp, both to human hands and animals. For this reason, fencing should be installed with the finished edge at the top. Our reinforced bottom mesh types have a semi-finished bottom as well for a cleaner and more attractive look. Most rolls also include our patented graduated reinforced bottom.
